my opinion of a good server and suggestions

Sorry it took me so long to respond to this rip but i agree with a lot of the things you said. Get onto the server sometime and i will talk to you about this and i will try to improve the server as much as i can

as of sunday, every owner will be on vacation/camp for 2 weeks minimum. I am very sorry about the absence, but i am chilling with some girls and am not as addicted due to it being summer.

When im on there is usually one person on. Where did everyone go? Where did Lolo, Alex, Rual, L13R, LilKoosh, Dirt, Egg, and Zace go? I'm usually alone no one to talk to. Reaver your usually on when its 1 AM where i am.

I agree with most of what you have said Rip. I dont give out much as a moderator, only if someone is building with me. I have tried to get more of my New Zealand players on the server. We currently have now: Ebpapen, Tazgo, zayphod, dragface, mr_insomniac, flyboy101, ArkAngle14 and me. That is a very large amount of New Zealand players and ALL are now regulars. That is my bit to the server. I have done what egg asked of me, and got Moderator for it. I think that ranks should be attained like this, by performing outstanding services to the server. -Reav.

This is a good server but lets face it it has its flaws.
This server allows people to get what they want, and when they do get what they want they are happy for maybe 2-3 days then they get bored with it and quit. This server does that.
A good server would not let people get what they want, would make people obtain things through hard work and exploring, wouldn't make it day continuosly, would have a safe spawn for those creeper filled nights, would have creepers ,would have a way out of spawn. lockette mod can stay in the server because the robbers can come and kill/steal all your hard work but iron doors with a one way exit and the /sethome cmd does the same thing. the hidden wooden doors mod (dont know name) that creates a hidden door from right clicking one side makes blocks dissapear isnt a good mob because if people want a double wooden door but can't because of this mod will have a shity house because it looks uneven. There shouldn't be a worker position because it is a long winded plan to get free stuff done in a short ammount of time which again is giving people free stuff and shouldnt be alloud. The lightning rod (golden boots) should also be removed. It is an unfair way way to kill people unfairly with only a few hits and destroy all of their items. it could make the new players to rage quit and never come back.
Those were most of the things that need to change in order to improve the server. I know its a big change but Maybe it will get people to stay on the server after a month of playing.
The last thing that will improve the server the most is to make a new map for the server. I know it will make a lot of people mad but it is a big step but some of the people have a giant stash of diamond blocks that they found (me and 30 diamond blocks). that will hold them off forever, and more.
my plan for donators is not give them the /give cmd but give them a chest at spawn with matierials of different tiers depending on their donation or another perk that you think of.
You could wait for the 1.8 adventure update (yes it is 1. to come out but that could take months.
I hope this helps get more players and donations.
